Lumiere offers hand-made mason-jar candles painted with pastel colours, sanded in select areas, and decorated with a ribbon to show off the natural texture of the mason jar. The sanding of the paint on the rugged surface of the mason jar helps to give it a rustic look. The original 250 mL are offered in a variety of colours and smells to please the senses and illuminamte the day of any bystander, Each jar includes a specific recipe that corresponds with the smell of the candle or interesting information that relates to it some how; our way of ensuring that every custumer smiles when they open each of our jars. Our product is hand made by students, promotes local businesses, and 25% of profits are donated to the charity Calgarian Avenue 15 Youth Central, further ensuring every customer can feel good about making their purchase.

Our Charity
Lumiere is donating 25% of all profits to the organization Avenue 15, a non-profit group that provides shelter, skill training, and emotiional support to kids aged 12-17 in Calgary. It was very important to choose a local organization to give back to our community. SInce our group members are teenager, we found this charity the most relatable. The teenagers in that shelter could have been us if we had been born under different circumstances or made different choices. Avenue 15 helps homeless youth by providing them with a secure environment where they are offered the opportunity to have a safe upbringing.
